A New Skill

Josh has developed a habit of trying to hold his bottle when he eats but he doesn't have the motor skills yet, so he mostly rubs his knuckles on the bottle. A lot of times, he just ends up knocking the bottle out of his mouth. I really don't have a problem with him trying this except that he's using his right hand. I could do the ole tape-the-right-hand-behind-the-back-to-make-him-use- his-left-hand trick but Anh doesn't really like it when I use tape on the baby. Oh well, I guess I'll have to be happy with him being a righty. We should have another baby... a left handed baby.

dude, nate is 1 and he still doesn't hold the bottle with me. he rather just squeeze the nipple while he drinks letting milk shoot down his chin at times.

you can do what i did with ally. trap the right arm to your body when you feed so only the left is free. also, when i rocked her to sleep i had it so only her left hand was able to move so she could play with my face with her left hand.
